Physiotherapy and motor rehabilitation
In our medical centre for physical medicine and rehabilitation, we offer multiple or single sessions of motor rehabilitation and physiotherapy. The activities can be carried out in the dedicated gym or in the water at our heated indoor pool.
Physiotherapy is the therapeutic treatment of illness through active and passive muscle movements and it plays a key role in motor and functional rehabilitation.
The rehabilitation pathway involves a multidisciplinary approach by a team of experts that includes a doctor, for the fundamental preliminary pathological assessment, a nurse, a physiotherapist, a posturologist, a therapeutic masseur and, in certain cases, also an osteopath. The treatment does not end here at the facility, but also continues at home with the exercises learnt during the sessions.

Who does it benefit?
Physiotherapy is suitable for everyone, but its benefits are particularly effective for those who have experienced neurological events (strokes or haemorrhages), cardiac events, neurodegenerative diseases, trauma, surgery or prosthetic implants, age-related pathologies or even the simple imbalance of muscular and skeletal alignment caused by poor posture.
The nature of the condition that determines the type of rehabilitation to be followed: a customised pathway tailored to the specific needs of the person is therefore proposed.
The aim is to help the person achieve the best possible level of autonomy on a physical, functional, intellectual and relational level, with the least restriction of his or her operational choices and a clear improvement in quality of life.
Massage therapy and Postural Rehabilitation also complement physiotherapy.
